NEUM

NEUM ist das noch ungeborene Wunderkind von MИNA und OMI. Im Rahmen von Rakete treten sie das erste Mal in dieser Konstellation auf und präsentieren als gesichtslose, von körperlicher Verzweiflung angetriebene Diener*innen ihre Songs. Inspiriert von Noise, Metal und alten slawischen Volksklängen reihen sie schweren Atem, Verzerrung und episodische Schreie aneinander.

NEUM is the still unborn prodigy by the duo MИNA und OMI, for the first time in this constellation, with a physical despair to deliver their songs in a faceless servitude. Inspired by sounds of noise, metal and old Slavic folk tunes, they build chains of hard acts for breaths, distortion and episodic screams.

MИNA ist eine im ehemaligen Jugoslawien geborene Performerin. Zuletzt lebte sie im ländlichen Serbien. Dort widmete sie sich Noise und Butoh, sowohl als Heilmittel als auch als Studium von Zersetzung und als Glaubensübung.
OMI lebt in Berlin und ist Teil des prophezeiten Duos NEUM.

MИNA is a performer born in former Yugoslavia. For the past months, she has been living in rural Serbia, turning to noise and butoh as a cure, study of decomposition and exercise in belief.
OMI is a performer based in Berlin, known as one part of the prophesied duo NEUM.

Sadis-Rose. A voice user, she a bender of body, she a seraphic bullet blender, slices pelvic bewitchery, spit, folk, psalms.
Crystal shards at the club’s night, fall, fake IDick, divine sound of earthchurch: she ritualises confessions, a star, she feminises the knees who dance ages. Oh she isolates shoulder, the exclusive roll of your eyes, the role of our heads down heaven’s stares.

Intime, liebeskranke Texte und die Beschäftigung mit „The End“ bilden eine Emo-Séance, einen Zauberschwur und ein Requiem für das astrale und physische Selbst in seinen Zyklen von Leben und Tod. SADIS-ROSE schafft Atmosphären der Unsicherheit, der spirituellen Hingabe, der Gemeinschaft und der zarten Empfindsamkeit, bis hin zu einer messianischen Verletzlichkeit als Ort der kollektiven Erlösung.

Intimate lovelorn lyrics and preoccupations for the ‘The End’ build up an emo-séance, a spell and a requiem for the astral and physical self through its cycles of life and death. SADIS-ROSE crafts atmospheres of precariousness, spiritual surrender, communion and delicate sensibilities towards messianic vulnerability as a site for collective redemption.


Agnes Bakucz Canário verwendet Bewegung, Klang, Video und Installation in ortsspezifischen und kollaborativen Kontexten. Unter Bezugnahme auf antike und zeitgenössische Geschichtsschreibung verknüpft er affektive Fäden der Intimität mit strukturellen Phänomenen. Raum, Klasse, Urbanität, Migration und anthropozentrische Konzepte von Natur werden zu einem barocken Gewebe der Existenz verwoben: Er tanzt eine Poesie, die den Körper in Beziehung zu Nicht-Körpern hält und zu Unterbrechung, Politik, Begehren und Reterritorialität einlädt.

Agnes Bakucz Canário uses movement, sound, video and installation, in site-specific and collaborative contexts. Referencing both ancient and contemporary historicity, he ties affective threads of intimacy to structural phenomena. Space, class, urbanity, migration, and anthropocentric concepts of nature woven together into a baroque fabric of existence: dancing a poetry, holding the body and its relation to non-bodies towards interruption, politic, desire, and re-territoriality.
