Die Veranstaltungsreihe LO AND BEHOLD versammelt experimentelle Sound-, Kunst- und Performancepraktiken und sucht nach sensitiven Hörerfahrungen im Theaterraum.

Das Experimentalensemble TLF Trio de- und rekonstruiert in seinen Kompositionen und Auftritten traditionelle Kammermusik durch den Einsatz von Improvisation, Sampling und elektronischen Beats. Die Musik von TLF Trio streift Minimalismus, verschiedene Spielarten des Freejazz, klassische Musik der Spätrenaissance und des Frühbarock ebenso wie Pop und House. Wie tänzelnde Figuren oder Bewegung im Raum gewinnt der Klang der Instrumente an Materialität. Mal feierlich, mal verspielt entsteht im Zusammenspiel eine Musik, die eher skulptural als narrativ ist.

Hanne Lippards Performance Talk Shop basiert auf ihrem kürzlich via Dischi Fantom (Mailand) veröffentlichten Album und schlägt eine faszinierende Brücke zwischen radikal-experimenteller Soundpraxis, Konzeptkunst und Lautpoesie. In geradezu dadaistischer Manier reiht Lippard Texte, Wörter und Gedichte aneinander, loopt und wiederholt sie und übersetzt damit den Effizienzgedanken und den Stress unseres öffentlichen und privaten Lebens in eine sinnliche Erfahrung.

Der Beitrag des mit Plot Toy assoziierten Projekts SALARY greift Techniken aus Theater, bildender Kunst und Musik auf: eine Kulisse, in der Drum-Soli, verzogene Samples und Bewegtbild auftauchen können. 
TLF Trio ist ein dänisches Experimentalensemble bestehend aus Cellistin Cæcilie Trier, Pianist Jakob Littauer und Gitarrist M. K. Velsorf. Die drei Musiker*innen leben in Kopenhagen, Berlin und Los Angeles. Sein erstes Album Sweet Harmony veröffentlichte das TLF Trio 2022 auf dem französischen Elektronik- und Experimental-Label Latency. 2023 folgte die EP New Songs & Variations mit neuem Material und Neuinterpretationen des deutschen Dub-Techno-Pioniers Moritz von Oswald, ebenfalls auf Latency. Hanne Lippard, geboren in Milton Keynes, Großbritannien, lebt und arbeitet in Berlin. Lippards Schaffen bewegt sich an der Schnittstelle von gesprochenem und geschriebenem Wort und vermittelt sich in einer Vielzahl von Disziplinen, vor allem jedoch in Klanginstallationen und Performances. The series LO AND BEHOLD assembles experimental sounds as well as performative and visual art practices, seeking sensory listening experiences in the theatre space. 
The experimental music ensemble TLF Trio de- and re-constructs traditional chamber music through the use of composition, improvisation, sampling and electronic beats. Their music channels minimalism, modes of free jazz, late Renaissance and early Baroque music and references pop and house. Like prancing figures or movements in space, the sound of the instruments gains materiality. At times solemn, at times playful, the interplay creates music that is sculptural rather than narrative.

Based on her recent album (released via Dischi Fantom, Milan), Hanne Lippard presents Talk Shop, a performance sculpting a fascinating bridge between radically experimental sound practice, conceptual art and sound poetry. In doing so, she taps into an almost Dada sensibility, delivering a suite of poems and texts in which individual words and sentences are looped and repeated, creating a sensory experience that mirrors the efficiency and stress found in both our private and public lives.

The contribution by the Plot Toy-associated project SALARY borrows techniques from theatre, the fine arts and music: a setting in which drum solos, warped samples and moving images can emerge.
TLF Trio was formed in Berlin in 2021 by the Danish musicians Cæcilie Trier, Jakob Littauer and MK Velsorf, based in Copenhagen, Berlin and Los Angeles. They released their first collaborative album as TLF Trio, Sweet Harmony, on the French electronic and experimental label Latency in 2022 and their sophomore EP, New Songs & Variations, with new material and reworks by German techno pioneer Moritz von Oswald on Latency in 2023. Her work is conveyed through various disciplines, predominantly sound installations and performances.
